Darwin chair by Sagmeister & Laarman

new york-based designer stefan sagmeister and dutch designer joris laarman, have collaborated on the 'darwin chair' for dutch design company droog. constructed from a free swinging structure that is comprised of more than 200 sheets of attached prints, as the top sheet gets dirty or tired, the user can simply rip it off, revealing the layer below, and quickly transforming.The 'darwin chair' is being shown as part of droog's presentation at design miami / basel 2010 from june 15th - 19th, located at booth G28, hall 5, messe basel, messeplatz.
